Ed Ball and Barbara got married December 31, 1998 with Caroline and Judy and Ed's sister, Jan Porter and her husband Ralph and grown sons, Scott and David as witnesses. They were married by a minister in Fairmount Park, Riverside beside the lake with the sun going down at about 5 PM.
Barbara earned a Masters in Public Administration from Cornell University's Graduate School of Business. In 1986 she was elected to the Banning, California City Council and served as Mayor during her tenure.
